Machine cleaning and maintenance

Switch off before cleaning. Brush away hair from the blade. If removing the blade, follow the model instructions to clean the blade and the accessible area beneath it. Reinstall and align the blade before applying suitable blade oil. Follow the Machine Cleaning & Maintenance guide.

Frequently asked questions

Is it supplied already zero-gapped?

The blade gap is adjustable; the source image lists a nominal 0.1 mm gap. Zero-gap capability does not mean every unit is factory set to zero. Follow the model instructions, align the blade correctly and test carefully before skin contact.

Does the collection picture include two machines?

No. Choose one Red or Polar kit. Each kit contains one trimmer and two additional interchangeable covers. Use a hair clipper for the main haircut and the NG-XT1 for outlines and finishing.

How do I clean and oil the trimmer?

Switch off, brush away trapped hair and follow the model instructions if removing the blade. Refit and align it before applying blade oil. The kit includes oil and a cleaning brush.
